6th Grade
Sixth grade is one of the many amazing classes in Inman Elementary. There is so much excitement, fun, and learning every day.
In science, we do things including building rockets, doing experiments, and having baking challenges.
In social studies, we research ancient civilizations and make websites about them.

We also make fun and exciting projects including publishing books, making model towns and houses, and recreating ancient artifacts.
Sixth grade has one of the best math classes. We play card games and have different challenges that are fun while we are still learning.
Reading is a very important part of sixth grade. We fill out weekly reading logs and answer comprehension questions. When we finish our books we take test that count towards A.R. points. For every test we take we get a certain amount of points. We have interesting rewards for when you reach a point club. For example, when you get 250 points, the lunch ladies will make you a special treat for you to eat at lunch.
Lastly, one of our main classes is language/grammar. In this class, we have daily sheets with interesting questions and we create books about what we learn.
On Tuesdays, we have D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) where we learn about drug and alcohol abuse. We learn how to resist drugs and how to be safe and responsible.
Also on Tuesdays, we have Tech Time where we do creative projects with technology, like creating movies and making collages.
